Mortgage Helpers Australia - About Us

When it comes to loans that are over looked by the “traditional” lenders you need some one with the ability to look outside the “square”. Paul Mitchell has been in finance for almost his entire working career and his straight to the point approach is one that will dig out the facts to get the job done. Paul has spent many years helping people with the big purchases in life such as cars, boats and homes.

Working for some of the largest new car franchises in Melbourne Paul has built up the knowledge to look at the big picture and to help people reach their financial goals.“The best part of my job is the reaction of a client when you get that approval when they were in tears at the first appointment.” My goal is to give the client back their financial independence.

Helping people in their hour of need is also part of Paul’s private life as he has a long service award with the C.F.A. as a volunteer fireman for his local fire brigade. “Getting called out in the middle of the night can be hard but it is as rewarding as it is difficult.”
Paul has also enjoyed time on the committee of the local kinder in which his children have attended and is now team manager of his son’s football team at St Marys and on the committee as the director of sponsors.

Since joining Mortgage Helpers Australia in 2005 on a part-time basis, Pauline Mitchell has become the full-time office all-rounder. Her responsibilities canvass reception, bookkeeping, customer service and everything in between.

“I love the different challenges that work poses for me every day,” Pauline says. “I get to really test myself by tackling a range of tasks, and I get a great deal of pleasure out of seeing a job well done. It’s a personal challenge for me and a great motivator.”

As a mother of three, Pauline knows a lot about committing herself to a role and applying herself diligently to ensure that every task is taken care of. She has a proven work ethic, and can be relied upon to perform her duties satisfactorily every time.

In her former role as a travel consultant, Pauline learnt a lot about the value and role of customer service in shaping the reputation of a business. She knows the importance of managing little details quickly “The most important thing to do in any business is to ensure that the client is well looked after,” she says. Outside of office hours, Pauline likes to spend time relaxing with family and friends and coaching her daughter’s netball team.
